the woman on top, but I think that's more of a "I'm effing sick of writing missionary for the past 13+ years" opposed to a dom/sub thing. This fandom has made me explore multiple positions in my writing, which sounds so dirty and awful, but it's true. And it makes me laugh when I think of Will and doggystyle cuz of his dog obsession, lolol, and tbh, I'm surprised I haven't seen more of that position since people tend to lay the dog thing on thick. Well...I'm sure there's plenty in the Hannigram department, but I'm obviously not going to read that sh&t. I wrote it in CH 16, but it's only because Abigail wanted to try every position. It's nice to be in charge sometimes and makes the man to beg for more but I prefer the man shows me "his talent" to me in bed. I think I've already any kind of sex scene in fanfics but I still prefer the guy as dom!. LOL It's no awful, you're getting experience. LOL Young actor... We need more young actors like Hugh in this world then. He'd probably get a restraining order against us.

1. Only people I've read that bash the Abigill pairing do it either because they hate anyone that's paired with Will, or because they think Will is too much of a dad figure to her. The latter I can't see how. He's only about 15-16yrs older than her at most. He seems to see himself mostly as Garrett Hobbs the person, not Garrett Hobbs the father I think. Abigail certainly doesn't view him as a dad to her (not like Lecter anyway). The only one drawing the "familial" connections between Will and Abigail is Lecter, and that could be for his own devious mind games he's playing with them. Unless we count that comment in 1x4 where Lecter remarks to Will about Abigail, "Very paternal of you, Will." and Will says, "Aren't you?" Not sure if Will was agreeing or just being skeptic. His connection to Abigail seemed to be mostly through similar experiences they share (nightmares, the antlers and her dad's killings).

2. My personal head-canon is after Red Dragon, Molly leaves Will and takes her son Willy. Will is left alone in despair, until Abigail shows up to help him pick up the pieces. And from there...well hopefully they stay together and everyone else (Lecter, Clarice, FBI, Molly, Willy etc.) all stay the hell away from them. lol.

3. Some people see what they want to see when opposing or supporting a ship. But what I saw was Will trying to be a friend to Abigail (because they shared much in common), and not a father. He even appeared to be avoiding that sorta role in 1x4 when he bought her a gift but then thought better of it because it would've been too "fatherly" as GJH would've been. And yes, Hannibal was much more of a father-like figure to Abigail in comparison. And like I said before, it was only Hannibal making those father-like comparisons about Will, and it was mostly, I think, to make Will feel responsible for Abigail and protect her secret, and later ultimately frame him. And yeah the Hannigail ship can be full of hypocrites, its best to try to ignore.

Naysayers always look for a reason to oppose a ship they don't like or support, unfortunately, and yeah they can be very blind and annoying. Oh and Lecter definitely knew what he was doing from the jump, imo, regarding Will and probably Abigail. Its what he does best - brainwashing and manipulating people when he isn't eating them. He knew Will cared about Abigail and how vulnerable he can be with his "gift", so he manipulated and misguided him into all these different thoughts and scenarios to set him up for his copycat killings (by planting the hair in his apartment and recording their conversations to show to Crawford later). And Abigail, you have to wonder, did Lecter take steps towards brainwashing into becoming a future apprentice to himself as well.

4. I won't bother trying to understand, Molly. I dislike mean – or rather rude people. xD I just feel bad for poor Will. He deserves a happier ending, so did Abigail – and they can give each other that imo.

5. A lot of people seem to be thinking about "incest" on this show – either Abigail with her dad, Hannibal, or I guess Will. Not sure why. I've read some thought GJH was having a sexual relationship with his daughter. I never saw anything like that – to me I think it was more of an obsession and a panic in losing his only child/legacy (that he was trying to bring up to be like him) to the point that he wanted to hurt/possess her fully as to not lose her, but instead he chose girls that looked like her. When Crawford pointed out that none of the bodies had semen or saliva on them, Will said that's not how he's "loving them" which would also relate to Abigail herself. Then there's the 'puzzling', "You have to sleep in your own bed", comment from Hannibal. That was, imo, just a direct response to her comment, "I don't like sleeping here. I have bad dreams." When people have bad dreams, especially young people, they tend to crawl into someone else's bed (a mother, father, sibling or close friend) which prompted Hannibal's curt response so there would be no confusion between he and Abigail I think. And Will – he requires the least explaining since as you said: they're not related, and they had the farthest thing from a father/daughter relationship compared to Hannibal and GJH. Whew! Sorry for rambling. It's just the incest talk on this show really irks me sometimes.

6. Abigail is a tragic victim, imo, and yes - not truly evil. I don't like those fanfics either with her being an evil rabid young woman; I steer clear of them. I do like reading the more flirty-mischievous side of her though, in her interactions with Will who is mostly a stunned and shy mess. lol. But I sometimes wish I could read a more confident and bolder Will paired with her, just to have something refreshing for a change. I grow disappointed and sometimes irritated each time I'm reading a compelling Will/Abigail fic and Lecter pops in or is referenced in a way that just diminishes my enjoyment of the story (threesomes, or implied triangles).

7. Some women find the dark characters more intriguing I think. I'm not too adverse to them as long as they show genuine redeemable qualities, and if they're misunderstood and they show some remorse. Hannibal so far has shown none of these qualities on the show. But yes it's sad that this has become a common thing. I don't think Hannibal respected Abigail either, she was just an experiment (plaything) like Will was to him, imo, since he seemed mostly curious about what she would do when he killed Cassie Boyle and her friend Marissa, which in the end brought Nick Boyle to her to be killed. I don't think there was a game of manipulation going on, but if there was, Abigail was a poor player. I think she was just horrified/disheartened at the end to discover this man who she believed to have her best interests at heart, who she counted on, who protected her, was in the end a killer worse than her real dad, and who manipulated her and Will for his own twisted plans.

8. People, I think, are used to seeing Will in a sort of confused/helpless state because of his condition, so I guess they use that as a sub template for relationship/pairing fics with him. It sucks because we've seen a "Dom/forward" side to him when he kissed Alana so if only they could take that side of him there and place it into fics with him, Abigail or Bev, then it would be so much better than just him as a sub. For once I think I'd like to read a fic where Will is the dom and Abigail a blushing mess around him. Haha. xD I read that fic you were talking about (A Conjugal Visit), and it was enjoyable at first but now looking back at it, it's not really a Will/Abigail fic, but more of a Abigail/Unknown killer sorta fic which kinda zaps away your enjoyment – unless we count that as an extension of Will's personality. I'm not sure if I read that fic where she just uses him, but now knowing that it's out there, I hope I don't run into it.

9. It sucked so bad for me in those final moments of the show. Honestly, I didn't care at all about Will, Jack nor Alana laying near death; I just cared about Abigail. To think, we get her back - Will gets her back - for a precious moment only to have her plucked away again. This time perhaps permanently. I swear Fuller must be a sadist to put us through this. To bring Abigail back to us just to kill her off.

Their reunion was so touching and emotional even with so little words spoken between them, their expressions told enough. When Abigail was looking at Will so devastated and tearful it was like she was silently telling him "I'm so sorry I left you, and that I chose him." but she couldn't say it because well, Hannibal was likely there listening. Really she looked like she needed a hug (a real one) badly, I was hoping Will would do it.,, Then a big kiss afterward xD (yeah my shipper heart got carried away in that moment). lol.

And yes, I agree, Will loved Abigail so much you can clearly tell since when he arrived at Lecter's home, he barely showed any emotion to seeing Alana dying outside. But once he saw Lecter slashing Abby's throat, did Will actually breakdown. I still remember my own reaction as I watched. I didn't react too loudly, but once I saw what Lecter was doing to her, I closed my eyes slowly while my heart cried out "God no, please..." Damn you, Hannibal! I was so hoping Will showed a more angry/hateful side to Hannibal then because that's what I would have done. Something like "Damn you, you evil bastard!! I'm going to kill you! I won't stop until I do!" Something like that. But that would have diminished the moment I guess since it was all about the weight of the loss Will was beginning to feel. I'd say there's an even smaller chance of Abigail surviving this time around despite Fuller claiming she survived a similar wound before. Like before, I'm just going to assume the worst as to diminish my disappointment when we find out for sure.
