The pilot deal is not news. That's what forced TGW into announcing she was leaving at the beginning of the season. Now we're just waiting for FOX to offer her a script she likes. It's FOX and the last time they had a good idea was 1992 so it could take some time but

The article is so over the top I can't decide if it's just tabloid made-up crap, or if it's the work of some evil element within the JM camp. It's hard not to rule out the latter. In any case, poor Archie is not amused.

At least San Andreas is #1 at the box office this weekend, that should cheer her up. But it seems Archie can't get away from CGI lately - from TGW to SA.

That article is horrendous. I don't believe a word, it is the exact opposite of everything Christine, Matt, Josh and you've got to wonder where it came from. Also I'm sure I read she gets on very well with Gillian and the cast of the Fall? And The Rock? Maybe sour grapes over the amazing opening weekend San Andreas has had.

well I almost replied to her "it took JM's PR people almost two weeks to come up with that? #PRFail" but I thought that was dignifying the whole thing too much.

She never did, I think. She's just choosing not to fan the flames with things that she wants to put behind her.

Honestly there are only two other actresses I have ever seen working so much with people they've worked with in the past and that's Carla Gugino and Mary McCormack. Whatever project they work on, you can always count on them working again with the same cast and crew several times.
Archie's mere presence in TGW was due to the fact she'd worked with Ridley Scott before.
She even had a (small) part written for her in Chromophobia after she'd worked with Fiennes in Constant Gardener. Yeah she's so hard to work with, people in the biz are just masochist
