JM said the cast's contract is up in S7 at NY film festival.
It's not a good thing that the original showrunners leave.Look at Castle. CBS want to milk the show as long as they can,which is their prestigious show with strong cast and good quality.You may argue the quality drops but honestly it still is better than a lot of new shows recent years for acting,casting,writing. The cast's contracts are up in season eight, not season seven. I'm not exactly sure what JM said, but the season eight thing is a fact that was reported as such in Variety.

Maybe the media report is wrong.I remember TV line covered Josh's contract was renewed one more season ,to S5,but it turned out he just signed half season.
