So I looked up Rogue Planet - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki and it is the same planet mentioned in NJO.

Actually that is the very same planet and novel. Just don't know what the name of the novel is when Luke finds it.

Its the Very same planet. at the end of the Novel Rogue Planet the Planet itself vanished. the World Brain and People living on it created Masive Hyperdrive Engins and departed for the Unknown Regions of space. only to be found some 60 years later or so by Luke.

I wasn't the biggest fan of this series from the start. It started with the death of Chewbacca and just got worse from there. Any fondness I had for the EU died with Anaking Solo in Star by Star. It was all down hill and straight to hell.

An NJO unappreciation thread! I haven't read it and even I hate it, based on what I've read about it. Start off with R A Salvatore () killing Chewbacca, move on to up the universe, depresso Han at odds with Leia, Han and Leia's kid killed off, endless books of one big overblown story designed to steal money out of fans' pockets.
