The thing doesn't make sense in several aspects including that Leia's voice can now carry thought the Force all the way to Rey on Planet Ireland. How did that power happen? LOL.

Snoke kills Hux in the very first scene? LOL.

We don't get to see any training cause there's time jump of 6 months with announcement that trainees progressed and are good to go.

We are reminded after every 2 sentences that Luke. Knows.Who.Rey.Is.But.Ain't.Sayin'. Zzzzzz.

Luke is Basil Exposition.

That's so beautiful After seeing the video about all the details JJ put into the film, and the little things he focused on, all the subtleties, I think this kind of analysis is super valid. Before watching the video I would've said it was reaching/fantasizing But this is much more "obvious" than a lot of the stuff he did.

This interpretation is great! And yes, there is a thing with this scene's lightning. It's quite symbolic. In fact, Kylo only kills Han when the light is gone, so Rey being in the lightning focus is important indeed.

I actually think he's in awe because she overpowered his move. In a sense, she proved to be stronger in the force than he was.

I just love how child like both of them are. Rey's so much like child and he is so much too despite being so messed up there's weird innocence about him in some moments such as this and when Hux sees him without his mask. I'm sure there are more.
