It was ok, definitely not unbearable. It's supposed to be a northern accent (like mine used to be) but like me just the occasional word sounded northern and the rest of the time it just sounded English! What was unbearable was the couple sat talking behind us most of the way through it.

Ugh, so annoying. Did anyone complain about that couple?

Well deserved double yuck.

People like that should be refused a ticket.

If I hadn't wanted to miss a minute of the film I would've got up and gone over to say something. Even the teenage boys sat at the back with the girlfriends were quiet during the film and I'm sure it wasn't their first choice of movie!!!

What's everyone got planned for the Labor Day weekend? Just a normal weekend here so I've been doing some housework whilst H renews the car insurance. Tonight we're off to a party and then tomorrow it's a trip to Ikea to try and buy some new office furniture!

It is!

See, if teenage boys are being more respectful than you are, you're doin' it wrong.

I'm not doing anything this weekend, sadly. Huge party that I'm skipping out on which sucks so, so much.

I'm getting errands done this weekend and may go to see The Help (finally) on Monday

See, why bother seeing a movie if the plan is to talk the whole way through? I don't get it.

Saw a trailer for The Help before One Day, it looks very good. Will definitely try and go and see it when it opens over here.

Have just been to a friends party. Fairly early night though as my sister and brother in law (who was driving) had to get back to pick up my nephew. Good night though.

It's so strange how The Help came out before One Day in the US, but that's not the case in other countries. But I haven't heard one bad thing about The Help yet so I think it'll be my type of movie.

Glad you enjoyed the party and got to have some more fun before works kicks in

I think we got One Day earlier as it's a British film.

We've been to Ikea today which was the opposite of fun! I do like Ikea but it's so soul destroying. We've got to go back next week because, as usual, something we wanted was out of stock even though when we checked online it said it was in stock! Grrr!

I've never actually been to Ikea. What's so great about it?

It's fairly cheap and the furniture is quite stylish! I've posted 2 pics of my guest bedroom kitted out from Ikea for not a huge amount of money. It's definitely a good place to go if you're a first time buyer on a small budget.

Ikea's still too expensive for me. Nice beds, though.

I like the purple of the beds. I'm reminded of a hotel, actually.

Haha, we call it our hotel bedroom! That room looks better than our own bedroom which needs some serious attention! I love that you think it's 2 beds when it's just actually a very small room and it's the same bed from a different angle!

Are you all having a good day off? I survived my first day back...just!
