i know i tell her all the time to keep her phone on but she wont do it. she doenst even check her messages. which i find so rude.

girls had great time at the meet. although ella was disappointed with one of her scores and then refused to swim her last heat cuz of it we told her she still swam great that she is swimming with stronger swimmers this time so even though she came in next to last she still did fantastic. but she didnt understand that. so she missed her last heat which was breaststroke and that is her best heat. oh well.

I'm happy that the girls enjoyed the meeting... and poor Ella it can be frustrating even for adults so for kids it's even worst. Hopefully with time she'll understand that even though she didn't get one of the first places she did a great job and won't be so upset. It's a shame she missed her best style.

well my cold is getting worse. i ended up going to the doctor today. he feels its more allergies and gave me some prescriptions to help. i called out of work. which was not easy to do. the one girl only works 3 days a week so i asked if she was able to come in to work for me and she was like "that is not my scheduled day". im like i am well aware but we are short handed and im sick so can you cover my shift.". its like pulling teeth nobody wants to come in. she finally said yes. thankfully. i was going to ask for tomorrow too but i think that would be pushing my luck with her. hopefully getting this new medication in me tonight will help and im hoping i will be better to go in tomorrow. right now i feel worse than when i started (back on the 3rd)

Yeah, I understand other people not wanting to cover the shift, but it's not like you're not going to work just to have fun, you are sick.
I hope the new medication kick in and you wake up feeling much better

I'm heading to Sao Paulo for 2 days, then 3 days in Rio de Janeiro.

yeah im feeling a little better. i actually went to work today. (well i had no choice. i had no coverage.). but i was ok. one of the kids made me a get well card

the cough med that i take at night leaves me so drugged the next morning and with a dull headache. its suppose to help me sleep as well as my cough.. i only take a teaspoon of it. but its strong stuff. i think im gonna have to take even less.

have fun in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. are you going with friends? or family?

I need a few days to catch up but I'll post around more on the board tomorrow or this weekend. I'm going on another vaca next month.

yes it was. he is one of the only few nice kids in the bunch. he is only 1st grade though.

Jen, yeah, but just a week this time. Holiday break. The family usually spends holidays out of town. Normally I'm never here on FF during the Christmas break.
