Yeah, I sure did enjoy it, wasn't really sore this morning, though I did notice later on when I was bending or lifting my legs high that I was a little sore but nothing big...

Jerry - don't worry about it on my account.

Johnnie - were you praticing and stretching throughout the summer? You'll have to take it easy until you're used to doing TKD again.

Kathy - I guess it's good that you're finding your classes challenging. I can imagine that it's convenient to be on campus for early morning or late night classes. Also gives you a social aspect that you'd miss if you had a place of your own. Although learning to live with a roommate can be ... interesting. It's good that you've learned to go study in the library. As to me, I had a breast lump removed last Friday. I have to remember to be very careful how much I attempt to lift and how high I raise my arm.

Yes, I stretched pretty regularly... though I did more stretching in that class than I have really over the summer since I pretty much did an hour of stretching before class, plus the stretching in class, and the other stuff we did... I should be decently ready for TKD tomorrow.

That's good, but you'd probably be wise to take it easy just the same.

*sigh* Looks like hubby is going to be bumped to straight day shifts in October. It will mean a bit less money, less vacation time and it will be harder to bring David home for a weekend. Blah.

Perhaps.

Though from the start of things, I hope it's not like it was last year with our instructor not there most of the time (the person who teaches when he can't make it is the same belt level as me)... I'd actually like to learn some new things as well.

But I don't want to break a promise....

Why is the hubby getting bumped? Senoirity?

My nose is running, I hate allergies.

The company's decided to do away with 12 hour straight day shifts and switch his crew to 8 hour days. Some other departments work 10 hour days, so Mike's looking into getting transfered to one of those. That way it's a 4 day work week instead of 5.

Allergies? Mine have been good this past week. What's out this time of year that you're allergic to?

Yeah, if you're looking for more days off... longer shifts can do that... I've been averaging about 9 hours a day this week, that's not counting breaks and the time I'm there before and after work... been spending a lot of time lately at work especially with Tae Kwon Do now and staying there until it's time to leave for TKD.

That kind of sucks for Mike. Hope he gets his transfer.

It's either Mold or Ragweed....one of the two. St. Louis is bound to the North, East and South by Rivers....as such, we have huge allergy counts due to the humidity.

The extra money should be fun, eh Johnnie?

Well, I'm going to the Ball game this evening. I've never been in our new Stadium....I guess it's time to go.

Yeah, it does. Won't take effect until October some time, and depending on when they change, he might owe them time which would really suck. Nobody on his crew is very happy about it.

I've got ragweed & mould too, but haven't found it too bad this year.

Johnnie - got plans for your extra big pay cheque?

Yay for the weekend! Working this week has taken a lot out of me even though they're good to let me go as soon as I say that I've had enough for the day.

Probably won't be that much bigger with all that income tax and stuff, but no, no plans. Though there is the possibility of getting overtime on my upcoming pay though it probably won't be much over if I do.

Hubby took me out for dinner tonight. Had an excellent meal and a really nice time.

Hubby insisted on putting the laundry out on the line this morning ... half dry and it started to rain. Madly ran out to get it, then it poured for a few minutes, now it's sunny again. Frustrating.
