It's hard these days because networks don't seem to like to give new shows a chance to build an audience.

Yeah so many shows have been cancelled this year it must be a record!

What I don't understand is that they've spent so much money before a show even gets to scheduled, you'd think that they'd want to give it a decent chance rather than starting all over again from scratch.

I suppose if they can see that something is truly awful, it's best to cut their losses.


Then there are the other shows that I just don't understand how they manage to stay on the air.

OMG!! Does that video ever make her look sexy & sultry! If somebody's first exposure to the character was through that video, I'll bet they'd be quite surprised at how the character is actually portrayed on the show.

It certainly would have been interesting to see her that way in a couple of episodes ... maybe in a holodeck programme. Not sure how believable she'd be as captain if she was vamping it up all the time.

If it was routine behaviour, I think it would be a lot harder to take her seriously. Guess that's a double standard because Kirk could be quite the womanizer.
