Hello!! IDK if anyone is still reading this thread, but I figured I'd post anyway. I was really into this fandom — most especially Forwood — when the show was first airing, and was even in the OP post on the old TVD FanForum page. I fell out of it around episode 5-ish I think of season 3 for unrelated reasons, and recently got curious to see how everything ended.

Imagine my surprise to find out that one of my oldest and most wonderful OTPs was RUINED for an abusive fanservice ship!! Reading how it happened, how they shafted Tyler, and how they made Caroline OOC was just so upsetting. It doesn't help that Klaroline is apparently everyone and their grandma's favorite ship now? Ugh. Gross.

Anyway, I'm definitely late to the party as far as lamenting and ranting about this ship's ending goes (really, the entire show tbh, which sounds like it turned into a garbage fire and no one but Delena got a happily ever after??), but if anyone feels like discussing, I would certainly love to do so! Either on here, or else I'm samwpmarleau over on Tumblr and would welcome anyone jumping into my DMs lol.

(P.S. I also wrote a fic a couple weeks ago that's my attempt at a canon-compliant fix-it fic regarding Caroline and Tyler's relationship, considering the show pretended it never existed and all. You can read that here if you want.)

Yeah, I stopped watching after 4x02, but I kept tabs on what was going here and there and it was just so tragic what happened. They were probably the best ship on the show and they were ruined for fan service. *SIGH*
