Clearly, I love that scene too. Oh and the scene from Caught on Tape when she names the dog after after Tony.... I just came from a karaoke party. Let's just say I used to love the Evanescence song My Immortal (reminded me of Tate - sad). Now I don't like it so much...  I use the word "love" a lot on this thread don't I? I lurv Tony...I lurv Kate...or rather lurved...I lurv Tate...I lurvv me...I lurvvvvv u guys too.  __________________

Okay, I can kind of see it from DPB's point of view. If you look in the past with shows where a male and female lead had a lot of UST, and they finally got together before the show ended, everything went downhill. Look at X-Files and Silk Stalkings for 2 examples. They're doing the same thing with Bones, and they even said it right out early on in the series.
Also, for JAG, they were going to have Harm and Mac work out their differences in time for the end of Season 8 (A Tangled Webb - Parts 1&2 I believe), but CB got pregnant. I'm not quite sure exactly what that had to do with anything, but when we saw her in Part 1 when she went to tell Harm that she was going with Webb to Paraguay, that was the actual size of her stomach. It's kind of hard for a couple to work out their romantic differences and make out when she's swollen like a beach ball. All I'm saying is that yes, it is frustrating when they don't work things out and start seeing each other, but past experience has taught the execs that a sudden dissolving of UST = rapidly dropping ratings and interest. Admit it, that general public is only interested when they're arguing to work off tension instead of making out, because there's only so many times you can hear the mushy "I love you."
