I think Tessa's eyes might be open a bit, there, though -- I think the photographer captured the very moment when she snapped back to reality and then had to remind Scott that they're on the ice, in front of spectators and cameras and such. Though I can't imagine how he so lost himself in the moment like that. I mean, I'm sure they've mentioned that as soon as a program is over, they just snap right out of "character," right?

Very cool! I never got very good at lip-reading/speech-reading, but I've studied American Sign Language since I was 12 and even chose sign linguistics as my master's thesis topic. Yay sign language!

Anyway.

Kris, I really hope they DO name their next signature move "the moose," because then when Scott is asked what noise a moose makes, he can go "MOOOOOSE!" and stretch his arms out. Only this time, the outstretched arms will be antlers instead of wings. Or something.

You know, Scott, some might suspect that your continuing tendency to overreact to incredibly minor (or even nonexistent, in the case of those Ilderton signs) insinuations of couplehood with Tessa is just a little bit like protesting too much. Some might view it that way. Some just might view it exactly that way. Just letting you know, dude...

fishyfin1, I've always wondered that about Tessa's eyelashes myself. They're just insanely long at some competitions, and moreso than at some others.

I am also rather fond of his "We work together eight hours a day, eight days a week. That's how many days we work together." Well, Scott, I'm glad to know how much time you spend working together. What a specific way to describe things. Almost like there's a whole chunk of time you're omitting by using that word "work." I mean, she is your best friend as described in this very article, right? Surely you see each other outside training...
