I was speculating in the spoiler thread that maybe this is the episode where Rumbelle go to the Dark Realm? I guess we'll know by the promo and the press release whether 16 is when they go.

Maybe that "weird little house" they were in the other day was the entrance to the Dark Realm, lol.

Why wouldn't they be there if their son is fighting Emma in the street? And maybe they get baby Gideon back and that's what ends this? And possibly, if RC isn't coming back full time Rumple would stay in the Dark Realm and sacrifice himself so Gideon can be a baby again? It could also leave open the possibility that he isn't really dead and can return for a series finale if they get a 7th season?

I find it's not best to speculate considering it's the finale. I know it's hard, but for me I'll just wait..for me though very intriguing and confusing what is happening. I couldn't even begin to speculate

Part of the fun for me is speculating. I'm wrong a lot so it doesn't always work out well though.

Anyone else have any thoughts on what might be happening? I read on Twitter that they may not be filming tonight either. I just can't come up with a good reason for them not being there unless one of them is ill or they are both not in town.

I just saw that Gideon had on a suit and tie last night!!! I need to see him and Papa side by side.

I noticed it too! I guess it's his pawnshop uniform (which makes me think the Black Fairy's spell isn't broken yet) And oh yes, he and Rumple side by side would be such a beautiful sight

I'm honestly kind of relieved that both Bobby and Emilie weren't/aren't filming. I didn't want the end of their arc to be spoiled, and at least Rumple and Belle are (most likely) together.

I like to speculate too! I guess Rumple and Belle are fighting the BF somewhere, as Jaime wasn't filming yesterday either. Yes, I think they could be in the Dark Realm.

My theory is that the BF does love Rumple in her own twisted way, and this new SB is her gift to him, a way to try and win him back. But Rumple isn't having any of it and he seeks out Belle. I'm guessing that weird house could be where she lives in the BF's world. I mean, the BF probably hates Belle because she was unable to turn Gideon evil because of her (didn't the writers say that there's a danger surrounding both Gideon and Belle?), but she can't just kill her because Rumple would never forgive that. So maybe the BF just sends Belle to that little house, and hopes that Rumple forgets about her and chooses his mom and darkness instead? Anyway, Rumple finds Belle and then they go together to the Dark Realm to find baby Gideon, and the BF follows them..

In a weird way this reminds me of the battle at end of BatB; The angry mob vs. the cursed servants (the "heroes" vs. Gideon), and Belle & the beast vs. Gaston (Rumbelle vs. the Black Fairy).

My feeling about why they aren't there is they are in the Dark Realm and they get baby Gideon back and either adult Gideon in SB disappears or he changes suddenly and it turns out he was raised by Rumbelle in the Dark REalm and they have been living happily there for years. I'm basing that mainly on Giles' tweet that we will "learn what happens with Rumbelle." It was kind of an odd way to put it so I wondered about it.

Of course if they all show up in filming tonight that may blow my theory.

Yeah.. I'm getting a vibe that Giles won't have a lot of scenes with Bobby and Emilie in the finale, particularly because of that tweet (well, he promised us a family pic, but they don't necessarily have to film together for that). Also, the way Emilie said she hopes that "Rumple and Belle end up together and are reunited with their CHILD" at Salt Lake Comic Con a couple of weeks ago sounded like she thought that's still possible..

I agree. I don't want to be spoiled. There is so much filming going on that even the spoiler pics we do get are confusing!

It does seem atm, Robert and Emilie aren't filming today either, so we are in the dark concerning them

TBH what we saw yesterday and today, not much really is coming out concerning the finale which hasn't happened for a while so that is good

Can I ask how you know they aren't filming today? I just kind of assumed they would since everyone else filmed overnight.

I saw a theory on Tumblr that I thought might be plausible. It starts out like we've said, that they are in the Dark Realm to get back Baby Gideon. But only two of them came into the Dark Realm so only two can leave and Rumple stays behind to let them come back. It would at least mean he's not dead and give us some hope that he would come back at the end.

Although to be honest, I can't see them ever using Emilie. If they didn't this year, when Belle is such a big character around the world right now I can't see them using her next year, so I would be just as glad if she left too if that's her choice.

But I think that could be a possibility. Although it's hard to imagine Belle leaving him.

Interesting theory, but I can't see Belle leaving him behind tbh, mind you how did Rumbelle and Gideon split in the first place...

Location work is done now for S6, so there could be still studio work to do..

. You know, I'm not convinced RC is leaving. We have one person who said he heard he was dying and people all over the place seem to think he's gone. I just think that was one person. I'm not ready yet to believe it. Although if he and Emilie both leave and they have s HE it's fine with me. I just don't see any real evidence at this point. I thought he was based on his comments but he seemed to change his tune so who knows?

I only believe Bobby is leaving if he says so himself or it's confirmed by the writers.

Yeah, I can't see Belle leaving Rumple behind even if she wasn't ready to be with him again. He's Gideon's father, after all. I think Belle would choose to stay with Rumple in the Dark Realm for their son's sake, so he could have both of his parents in his life. Plus, there are no reports of Emilie filming alone or with a baby/toddler for the finale.
