Just came home from pub to find germany lost? what the hell? England and germany out. Well come on USA lol they my back up team since alot of my family live in Illinois.

Right since england are out, guess i should look forward to the Olympics football go team GB hey i wonder if there will be an womens team too. cause i might make the trip down to london to watch the women.

Are you sure about that? In men's football, Scotland haven't been in a major tournament since France 98, and it looks like we're really going to struggle to qualify for the next one (Euro 2012). Scotland always really struggles to make it through the qualifiers. Being in Europe for football qualifying is just too difficult.

And yep, never properly followed women's football. I'd like to get into it more though.

Has it been properly established yet if we're going to get an actual British team for London 2012, or is it basically going to be the England squad playing under the name of "Team GB"?

I dunno yet i know theres dream teams going round but i'm guessing if they do manage to get over themselves and get a team together there has to be more than english players there are good irish welsh and scots players out there.
