That's a great guess. It could very well be that part, especially since Charlie voiced her concern over Michael saying that he would always love Jane (to which he clarified).

I also think the moment of Jafael in the kitchen discussing Michael - and Rafael being understanding and not at all threatened - comes full circle to earlier this season when even before Michael got his memories back, Rafael was concerned (and correct in thinking!) that Michael was going to try to get Jane back.
Months and months have passed since the beginning of this season - judging by how far along Charlie looks, I'd say it's been at least 6-7 months since Montana alone.

I love the growth that was shown in this episode, especially Rafael's. His life with his family is not small no matter how much money they have, Jane getting $500k for her book was a bonus. And while that is a lot of money, in this day and age it's not going to go very far. lol But maybe that is just Jane's advance and she'll get more money as the book sells...??

This stood out to me too, His comments were so on the nose today. And I suppose next week we will find out it's Mateo.
It would be nice to see his coming out to Jane and Rafael (i know we won't obviously) because in the season 2 mother's day episode the LLN said he has the "most supportive mother" so she will most likely be accepting. Rafael? I don't know. But he might come around over time. It might be best to just tell Jane at first.

She will make more money off the book. Remember the book hasn't even be released to the public yet. Given this will be Jane's breakthrough book, the 500k will be worth it because the book will make a profit. It will be a bestseller given the series is the book. SF was a critical and commercial failure so it wasn't even released overseas. This book will be released overseas. Jane even plays golf in the future and don't forget about the dream house and boat. And the LLN is always talking all the places he has been and comes off as someone who grew up in the money. Even went to the most expensive therapist. But remember JTV wasn't the most accurate when it came to writing. lol Jane never even wrote anything for little money on the side. I think she showed some rejection letters in S1 but that was back in S1 when Jane didn't even take her writing dreams seriously. She did one piece for Cosmo in S3B. She was going to ghostwrite Petra's lifestyle book before Petra's arrest. I'm not an expert in that field, so a real-life writer can help us all out. Rafael accepts Luisa and Petra. He has never shown as being against LGBT people. He cares about his children's happiness first. Mateo has a stuffed unicorn and even wanted Jane to have a unicorn party. Rafael wasn't against his son loving unicorns.

^^Exactly. There is literally nothing in the narrative to suggest that Rafael would have any issue with Mateo coming out. If anything, it was Jane that had reservations about Adam being bisexual - which she ultimately worked through.

Can someone clue me into how we know the LLN is gay? Was there something specific and definitive that he said that makes us sure?

When Rogelio gave Darci a list of reasons to move to New York, one of the things was that NY has the most single people in the entire country, and LLN says: "Ooh, I should move there." Then Rogelio says that single women outnumber single men almost 2-to-1, to which LLN says: "Never mind." (because there are more single women than men)

Jane's destiny speech to M/C sounded familiar, but I can't place it. Did Rafael say something along those lines to her earlier in the series?
"And I do think it was destiny. Everything that's happened, all the moments that led to this, you two finding each other...it couldn't have happened any other way."

Help me out with something. In 1x15 AH called Rafael, Jane's one true love, in 3x20 he's called her one true love, in 5x07 he's called her one true love and in 5x17. Any other ships were called that? Was Xo and Ro ever called each other's true love? Even though we know they are.

Petra and JR haven't spoken in months. Petra just said the Marbella is her best lover. lol Their endgame is going to feel rushed even for this show. She's been working at her Houston job for months. The description also mentions "Petra deals with her emotions." I don't ship them but that's going to be quick. The episode deals with the wedding, Xo/Ro moving, the traditional Xo/Alba/Jane bonding as it should. I might cry like all the critics did. Ugh, I wish the recap at the beginning of the episode would be their history but I doubt it. It's always everything that has happened so far. It would have to be only a few key moments since their history is long. I want that wedding dance. My wish for it to be reality and fantasy probably won't happen. I want Rafeal to come across their dream house while working. Make me ugly cry, show. I want the LLN to call it the GOAT of JTV weddings. But I'm seriously curious about his comments because it would be the final pieces to the puzzle of his identity.

Thanks everyone! I don't like watching the IG clip anymore because everytime Gina says my real name, I feel kind of like weird.. HAHA! Like she's talking to me, which technically, she is.

Somehow, I feel like he's said something more similar to the line about all roads leading back to where they are, but the one thing that I do remember is when he admits he has feelings for her back in S1. It's pretty close, I think.

The promo for the finale, while only giving us around 4 seconds of new footage, is very promising. That moment of Rafael at the wedding makes it seem like it will be very emotional.
