Same here! It was just so magical. When I rewatch that episode I always have to rewind back to that part at least 2/3 times.

I also love the fact that we got to see them as children during that scene as well. I think that is what made it even more magical.

Not to talk for Toby, but I think in Francis’ case, he’s afraid that if he allows himself to love Mary that he won’t have the strength to leave her if he has to or to let her be with someone else, if that’s what is politically right for her. And she will leave him for someone else if he can’t give her the support she needs and her country is in danger. She will leave him for someone else because she has to. She can’t be just like, “No, I’ll just wait it out and I’ll wait for you,” ’cause her country could burn to the ground in the meantime. I think that she has the strength to love him and leave him; I don’t think he has the strength to do the same with her. I think he’s an all-or-nothing kind of guy. And that’s why he’s so afraid. In much the same way that a lot of men are afraid of love and falling in love and being committed to one person for the rest of their life. That’s a very masculine fear and appropriate fear for a young man to have.

OMG they are wearing the same rings, I didn't even notice. I was so focused on them, the way he is holding her face. I was just like "OMG

he is going to kiss her" then the next thing their kissing.
I love first kiss moments when the girl is rambling and the guy has to call her name to get her to shut up, so he can kiss her.

I wonder what the rings represents.
