Can't wait for season 2, too! Although the first 5 episode titles sound so depressing...and I see Rayna/Deacon in every of them ...I Fall to Pieces, Never No More, I Don't Wanna Talk About It Now, You're No Angel Yourself, Don't Open That Door.

Excitedness has overtaken me; just about 2.5 weeks now!

I don't know about anyone else, but, I'm a little less than happy with how the Rayna/Deacon storyline is sounding, but, I guess, it's more realistic to take time, probably quite a bit of it, for them to hopefully work things out.
Deacon isn't going to just shrug off, not knowing he had a Daughter for 13 years, and Rayna isn't going to be able to just go down an old path, when now, she has 2 Daughters; I'm sure, the realization that they could have been left Motherless, as she was, will be huge in the choices she makes, right after the accident.

I guess, at this point, my biggest questions: Why is Deacon arrested? Was it assumed he was driving, and he didn't deny it, or, did he actually Say he was driving? How will that play out?
Who is Megan, or, I guess, rather, who will play her, and how major or minor of a character will she be; will she become a romantic interest for Deacon? We've heard so many casting scoops, but, nothing about Megan.

Connie and Chip have such a great, and relatively rare screen chemistry, it seems weird for the show to waste it. So, I'm hoping, one way or another, they still have lots of screen time, together.

Looking forward to their flashback scenes, although, I suspect they won't be happy ones.

Ahhh, finally, it was really bugging me! Megan is played by Christina Chang Candice Bergen, Charles Grodin To Play 'Michael J. Fox' Parents; Christina Chang Recurs On 'Nashville' - Deadline.com. I'm already hating her!

I always try to remind myself of this Dee Johnson's quote: "You will see happy times between the two. They might not necessarily be the happy times that we want, but we'll certainly be working towards more happy times."

I have a MAJOR dislike for her, and, maybe even more, for Jeff and Luke, who seem like they are going to be put forth, as, kind of the anti Deacon!

Same here. Actually the more spoilers I hear about this season the less I want to see it! Kinda depressing

You're not alone buddy. Those are my sentiments exactly. Yeah too right it's depressing. Chip and Connie are both so awesome in Nashville!! I love their characters both so much too!! I don't want to see them being all depressed etc. for one second. Let alone the whole of the first half of the season.

The "anti Deacon" lol!!! That's such a funny phrase. I'll never be anti Deacon. But RayRay loves Deacon you guys!! She's seen him face addiction before and by all accounts that was really really really bad but that didn't stop her from being in love with Deke. They'll find their way back to each other (at least TPTB better fix this mistake they've made). I just hope it's not gonna take too long.

What did you guys think of the new promo poster? It's some of the worst photoshopping I've ever seen! They've managed to amputate Chips legs, cut half of Lennons arm away and Sam would appear be growing out an amp. Who the hell ok'd the release of that?!? They have so obviously photoshopped a chiseled jawline onto Chip as well, he's never had a jaw like that in any photo!

That promo photo is a little odd. Hayden, is barely recognize able.

The individual photos aren't great, either. Everybody looks so stiff.

Very attractive cast, they could have done much better. BTW, I thought Kimberly had been promoted to a cast regular; I guess not?

What is this poster you speak of? Sounds worth a laugh! I'd like to check it out! I tried doing a search on Google images but that was too spoilery and upsetting so I stopped.

ETA: I've been meaning to say this for ages but I always forget - That quote somebody posted from Connie Britton. Something along the lines of: "We had to be all serious in the car wreck but Chip Esten just kept making me laugh all the time!" I really really love that quote! That's so brilliant! Sounds like they get on really well together which is always awesome to know!
