I think they both enjoy the John Ross/Pamela dynamic. Plus they're good friends and both have significant others, so it's probably hard for them to get comfortable enough with someone to give off a romantic vibe and develop chemistry. Josh is naturally good with the ladies, but nothing compares to what I've seen with him and Pamela. Julie I was pretty good with Jesse, but still nowhere close to how she is with Josh. I guess it's all about establishing a rapport.

Besides, I don't think Dallas or Josh wants to play up John Ross/Emma too much...the only one who does is Emma Bell, since it makes her character relevant and a third party to the best relationship on the show. If in the coming 5 month, if Josh starts putting up photos of him and Emma or some other woman, then I'd get concerned about John Foss/Pamela, but I think they're going to remain central to each other's character and will play off one another (whether it's good or bad or both).

Well in some defense of Cynthia Cidre and her writers, even though they wrote the ending with John Ross cheating, to their credit they also wrote most of season 2 building up John Ross and Pamela and marrying them. So it wasn't all bad. It was their plan/idea to pair them in the first place. I don't think they expected them to catch on so well with the audience.

We will have to see what S3 holds for them. Now that the writers know how popular JR/PR are, I expect them not only to be center stage...but I expect them to up the angst between them. And I also think they will reach a point where they reunite after declaring their feelings for one another (especially on John Ross's part). But I think it will be a very bumpy ride to get there.

The picture last night of the barn scene seems to strike most fans as romantic. To me it is a double-edged sword. If it is a touching and personal scene, I think it further shows he does care for/is in love with Pamela. But it also will cut Pamela deeper when she finds out about Emma.

I believe that Emma will chase John Ross of every possible way to have sex with him, because after all she is addicted to sex as much as drugs. I believe that John Ross has got what he wanted from Emma, and he will flee from it like bat out of hell.
