I hope for an alteration to make that scene a little more clever. I still think having Pamela in on it would be the best way to go. That way they set up a whole new dimension to their relationship. Quote:
She really didn't gain anything by marrying him. Sure Southfork is a nice piece of land, but it's not a multi-billion dollar company. I think Pamela having all the power in the marriage is a good way to create internal problems within the marriage. I forgot about the casinos. I think they own a trucking and oil company too. |

so they are still tweeting/messaging about PR. They know they screwed up and are trying to appease fans. Lets hope they fix it next season. But really once I got over my anger I still think it could have been worse. I am very optimistic about PR for next season.

Interesting. John Ross is tweeting about Bobby.

I mean even "Romeo and Juliet" are mentioned in comparison to Pamela and John Ross. That's an EPIC couple right there! So from the new facebook comment, we can see that the key words are "in love" and "Romeo and Juliet." Also, I'd have to wonder if TNT was planning to cancel Dallas, why the non stop facebook AND twitter comments? Why take the time to do that unless there is a season 3? So yup, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a season 3!!!! And more focus on Pamela and John Ross! I want them to get more screen time. __________________

I want more screen time too. I can't believe for most of the season, Ann had more screen time than Pamela.
I think JRPR will be the center of the next season. If TNT is smart, they will do this. Right now, they are spending money on getting someone to tweet and post about them. I can see them putting out all the stops promoting them right before the season start. |

Shannon1982 added you!
I don't really know what to make of the fact that there is no renewal news yet. But on the off chance that the show doesn't get renewed, I'm just going to imagine that the last scenes never happened and that the Barnes/Ewing feud really was ended with Cliff being jailed and JR/PR are moving forward with their fresh start. My thoughts on Emma are still pretty much the same, I'm not threatened. If John Ross had met up with Elena and all they did was talk, no sex, I would have been worried about the intentions of the writers. But Emma does not worry me in the slightest. There is no way the writers are going to make JR/Emma anything more than a business thing, at least from JR's side of things. Though once he realizes just how crazy she is, maybe he'll feel sorry for her, but that will be the extent of it. And I am convinced that they did JR/Emma because she is going to go crazy on JR. She's a wildcard and while I may hate her, the writers probably see all the drama potential associated with a wild card. I feel like the writers won't do a JR/SE redux with the constant cheating, because they won't want to do a carbon copy and because JR/PR already have a dynamic to them that is very different that that of JR/SE so they just can't carbon copy them. JR/PR are kindred spirits, they are basically one in the same and I'm not sure that JR/SE had that element to them. Making JR/PR all about JR bad behavior and PR losing it because of that would really undermine the fact that they understand each other in a way no one else can. Plus, you add in the Romeo & Juliet nature of their relationship and there is just too much there for it be boiled down to a never ending cycle of adultery. Plus, I feel like adultery was probably a little bit more accepted back when original Dallas was on. The writers must know that if they want to make JR endearing he can't be a constant cheater. Even Don's cheating on Mad Men has gotten old and pathetic. __________________

I think the next season starts with JR / PR are living the honeymoon phase, but during the season we will see their relationship grow, but when Pamela discover the affair she can completely change. My theory is that when Pamela figure it out, she'll be heart broken and feel that only she married for love, and not him. I think she might be married to JR, but she will get her revenge ignoring him.

I think it's a really good sign that TNT is still promoting John Ross and Pamela through Facebook and Twitter. I think they are doing their best not to lose fans after the finale. They might even realize their mistake. If any two characters should be promoted it's these two. I really hope we get brand new promotional shots with Josh and Julie together. No need to keep showing the old ones with John Ross and Elena and Christopher and Rebecca. Those couples are long gone now and they need to promote what they have and what is popular, and that is JR/PR. Can you imagine how amazing they would look together in new promo shots?

I thought I heard Julie is also single. Where did you guys read that she has a boyfriend? I know she said he s like her brother but that is what they all say to throw everybody off the scent.
i am more likely to believe they have something going on than they are not. That dinner video is telling . I have stopped worrying about our couple until next season. Let me see how they will play it. The Fb quotes are superficially nice but I prefer a show don't tell policy. When season 3 comes, let them show this epic love on my screen not a man who cheats within days of marriage because of papers in a briefcase. |

^^^Congrats on 100 posts.
I don't have a clue what's going on in their personal live. As long as it doesn't affect JR/PR's story, I'm cool with whatever. For season 3, I would like a show don't tell too. I think that will be a big part of John Ross's story arch. He is all about actions so I can see Pamela throwing anything he says back in his face. They are so twisted. I can't imagine what she would want him to do to prove his love. |

As John Ross told Pamela, "Actions speak louder than words. They always do!" WELL, he is going to have to PROVE to Pamela that he loves her. __________________
