I think Justin's rage started long ago, but it came out after Darren was bashed and he was so angry about that. It pushed him over the edge.

I always thought Justin had it in him. Not to commit murder or anything, but fighting with Hobbs in the locker room, then calling him out on the street, was pretty aggressive.

True. Good point. But, I never thought he'd pick up a gun. It was a powerful story line and one that needed to be told. I'm glad Cowlip stopped where they did with the storyline.

I love how in the end Justin left crazy Cody alone to wallow in his own undoing, without looking back.

You could see, that Cody would go over the limit if he had to. Justin wasn't comfortable with the gun from the beginning. But Cody would have been the one, if would have been in Justins shoes, who killed Chris Hobbs witout hesitation...

That's just it. I don't think Cody would have killed Hobbs or anyone. He was using Justin to carry out his own rage. He was trying to push him to do something he wouldn't.
Cody got off on the power of controlling others. And Justin was the perfect tool. His rage was Cody's best weapon. He was taking a group of already angry people and riling them up, making them hate even more, in the guise of a cause. He already lost his "loyal" group of followers, then when Justin wouldn't follow through, he totally freaked out. He had nothing. __________________

well... he was the one who carried and used guns since he was a kid... and weapons + anger are neveer a good combination.. so I wouldn't out my hand into fire for him not killing anybody... maybe not as a planned murder, but out of rage. What would have been if that weapon was loaded?? alone the thought that he doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger knowing there is no bullet in it is a big thing. and imagine peoples faces while shooting ith loaded guns on aims is crossing a line for me...

He is a great manipulator and what I would consider a classic abuser. As messed up as Cody was personally, he tried to make Justin think that unless he killed Hobbs, then he's just allowing him to get away with the bashing. Then he went on to scream how worthless he is.
