I think so...well partly for Brian and partly to show his support, I also think he would have stuck around for longer if that guy hadn't been hanging round Brian

I think seeing Brian with that guy made Justin angry and he reminded him of why he left, but I believe there was also some jealousy there.

I gotta say, I find it painful in S2, but in S3 I mostly enjoy it because I can feel the reunion is coming. It's not a negative angst like in S2, it's a positive one: in S2 it was leading to the break up, in S3 it leads to the reunion.
