I kinda enjoy those episodes of S3 in which they are separated, because I like to see Brian finally realizing fully that Justin changed him and he can't go back to who he once was, but at the same time, there are scenes that make me very sad, like the hustler one.

I just rewatched 301 this afternoon and I feel the same way. Brian clearly missed Justin in more ways than one
