Completely happy? No... probably not, but he also wasn't completely happy with Brian ... but he calmed down a little with Ethan, it wasn't always a drama, it was easier to watch, easier to handle... and after that really not easy to take drama in the last 5 episodes of Season 2 I was just happy for him...
I knew it wouldn't last, since it was obviously that he didn't chose Ethan because he was in love with him, but because Brian wouldn't meet him half way... __________________

I agree he wasn't always completely happy with Brian either
I also liked that he could experience a more "normal" relationship with a guy like Ethan, who shared some of life beliefs and some of his passions, like the one for art in general, even though Ethan's was the music. But in the long run, I think Justin got a bit bored, besides everything else that happened. I think he does like the thrill he has with Brian. __________________

um,I don't think Justin had a normal relationship with Ethan.ok,he had breakfast in bed and roses every day,but it wasn't real,and it definitely wasn't honset. as for sharing the same intrest, Justin was passionate about his art,but at that point he wanted other things too,while for Ethan music came first.
I agree Justin loved the thrill of living with Brian,and he missed it. __________________

Why wasn't it honest? The breakfast was there, so was the rose, so were the candles. It's not that Ethan lied the second he opened his mouth.
 He cheated and lied - just as Justin did to Brian. That doesn't mean that Justin wasn't honest ever before.__________________

I meant to say it felt fake. I felt like Ethan concetrated on those romantic gestures rather than on the real romantic feelings.

Actually I think Ethan did believe in what he did and said, but I also think he didn't really know what it means. I hardly doubt he ever had a real and longterm relationship. He easily took things for granted, like Justin and his beliefs in romance. But that of course isn't the way a relationship works...

I don't think true complete happiness exists, only moments of happiness exists and I think Justin experienced more intense moments of happiness with Brian.

but I also think there was a wild side in Justin, that Ethan didn't have. We see that Justin missed it, missed the life he had with Brian: Babylon, Woody's, some danger.__________________
