Excellent review from the Los Angeles Daily News , except for a glaring error you will see below. I posted a comment pointing it out. Let's see if he makes a correction
Theater review: At the Pantages, ‘Cabaret’ is a stunning, chilling reminder — and a warning Randy Harrison, known from television’s “Glee,” steps into the iconic role of the Emcee and gives an unforgettably brilliant, meaningful, astounding performance, from his first energetic jolt of a welcome through his last, disintegrating song. Whether Harrison blends into the kick line of Kit Kat Girls or coyly plays the devil to characters selling their souls, he still draws our attention, but never so much as when he offers a straight-armed salute with his right arm and a two-fingered moustache with his left, evoking the man who sought to make Germany great again. |

 I can't actually envisage Randy in Glee .. although I think I've only seen two episodes and it was all a bit too saccharine for me  Hope they rectify the error Mark .. and thank you for posting another great review, although I'm beginning to notice that the deeper we are into the presidential campaign, the more reviewers are relating to this as a present tense warning. __________________

Now Chord and Randy…that makes complete sense. Well, sort of. That just means that he's not REALLY that familiar with Randy. But…oh well...nobody's perfect.

Another rave review
“Cabaret” at Pantages – ArtsBeatLA Randy Harrison is fantastic as the Emcee — bringing plenty of raunchy sexuality to his performance yet relaxed and saucy without trying too hard to impress. At one point he leads a really lewd shadow play scene. (This show is not suitable for kids.) The superb choreography is deceptively simple and effective |
