Claudia: I'm so glad you had a nice time on your date. I hope you do it again since it makes you happy. You actually seem more excited than you did after your first date with Richard.

I have to do a few things today. I'm glad I got groceries out of the way last night. That's one thing I've already checked off my list.

Yes! I love grocery shopping...usually. There's nothing better than going aisle by aisle . It's totally Zen for me. My hubby usually starts calling me to see where I am around an hour into my expedition though. It's quite funny actually.

It was so crowded last night though. Either Sunday is a huge shopping day or it was because 4th of July is coming.

I think Sundays are busy these days because so many people are so busy during the week but I am thinking 4th of July is probably adding to it

I just got off the phone getting an auto insurance quote. Man...those guys are hard selling. He would end each quote with "will you be putting this on your debit or credit card?" I would say neither and he would say, "what can I do to earn your business?" I finally said..."you can let me get off the phone".

I guess thats their job and they work on commission but it is so annoying. We went looking at ovens on the weekend and the guy was around all the time and we just kept saying that we just want to have a think and he was still hovering - it was frustrating because we just wanted to have a look and think without all that.

Deborah—yup, I am in Toronto. It’s been obscenely hot. It’s been in the high 30s but felt like the mid-40s (celsius) which would be something like the high 90s in Fahrenheit. It was insane!!

I love grocery shopping too!! It really is Zen, isn’t it haha?

Claudia—glad you had a fun date!!

So, yesterday was Canada Day, I went to a bbq with friends and that was fun. But, in the morning, my brother and sister in law had their second baby and now I have two nephews!! He is so cute!! They named him Christian. My other nephew is excited to have a little brother. Today we have off because of Canada Day so it’s nice to be home!!

Also, I’ve decided that for my birthday in October, I am going to go to Woody’s Bar haha!!

I'm on the phone with insurance again.

Addie: I went to Woody's and it was so nostalgic. It's a lot bigger than it looked on the show. I also went to "Babylon" which is actually a club called "Fly". That club is a lot smaller than it looks on the show, but complete with 2 levels, plus a downstairs "back-room". I'm not sure what goes on down there though.

Deborah - good luck with those insurance people - hope it's sorted soon and you don't have to talk to too many more That's cool you have been to Woody's and Babylon I have been to Forks to visit Twilight land when I was in Canada a number of years ago - that was very cool It's amazing to see these places hey

Addie - that's cool you're an aunty again Congrats Sounds like you had a nice day for Canada Day It's always nice to get together with friends and family

Hi all

I'm back after an amazing but really tiering weekend of sun, fun and lots of walking.. I really should look for a stepcounter next time.

On friday we spent 8 hours walking in a botanical garden and zoo. the botanical garden was so amazing that we almost forgot about the animals and the convention was really great. well the main attraction, Mr Chuck Norris, anounced friday evening 9pm. that he can't make it.. we weren't to get autographs and Pics with him, but a lot of people were and they really weren't happy.. and I mean.. saying he has problems to get to germany at 9pm? when he should be here at 8am.. why don't I really believe him? doesn't matter.. we still had fun.. just sorry for the ones who didn't..
