I'm about 200 pages into the sixth book but I'm not really as into it as I was with the fifth. I went to the midnight party and it sucked, besides for being able to get my book at about 12:15. We had to stand outside for about an hour while they closed and got the books ready but I did meet a few people.

Jerry announced that thw Watch List boards are being suspended, because of the fact the site has been down so much. I hope when the new Watch List board comes back up, Nicholas Brendon isn't on it anymore. If it is, I may have to step down I do have to go to uni. I just have Monday off. Thanks hun

Oh and about HP, like Dine said, have you read the others? By the way, the fourth was my fave.

Me too, I'm avoiding any main Potter places online. I'm not surprised some people have finished it already. Some probably finished the day the book was released!

alyssa - i didn't really like the fifth. at least not the ending. i haven't read much of the hbp yet since i hardly had time over the weekend.

i love the books. i don't really get the entire fandom & the hype with opening shops at midnight & dressing up like wizards & all that - i don't get that about star trek & lord of the rings, either. but i love the books & the movies are done perfectly, too.

The ending was sort of a shocker for me for OotP. I brought HBP with me everywhere for the past few days in order to finish it and I did about an hour ago. It was again a shocker but I was disappointed in it. Either way, I hope you get a chance to read it.

dine, i'm only in the second chapter but i accidentally got spoiled. my 7 year old niece suddenly told me last saturday night who was going to die and who the half blood prince is. doesn't that just suck? i got pissed off at her but of course i couldn't do anything about it.
