I don't think Brian would've fallen in love with Michael even if they did sleep together. Brian didn't fall in love with Justin just because of sex - it was the way they were together - Michael never had that relationship with Brian so sex wouldn't have changed that. It would've just been another night to Brian that he probably would've regretted because they were such good friends but I don't think they would have ever fallen in love.

I think you are right Fiona.. it wasn't the sex that made Brian fall for Justin.. he was challenged by him in many ways, and his persistence made it possible.. but would it probably helped Michael to see that it wasn't how he expected it to be?

But then again Michael might have fallen even harder in love - sometimes people mix up love and sex and think they are the same or go together but others don't - like Brian. So Michael might've thought Brian did love him because of the sex if they did it.

in my eyes it would have ended in a desaster and would have cost them their friendship for sure..

and maybe both knew it, cause there sure were possibilities on both sides to take the final step

Yeah I think so too - no matter how much Michael thought he loved him he knew that it would wreck what they had and that was more important to him

He would have had so many opportunities.. and the ones we saw him trying, were one time drunk and hurt, and the other time sending a message to Mikey..
