So I just re-watched "Birthday" I swear still my favorite episode by far!

Cordelia being needed, her friends secretly buying her gifts and a cake, Angel and Cordelia amazing moments, Doyle brought back up as being a hero, Cordelia showing that although her life was re-written her heart was already content in her previous one!

She's a remarkable person!

Awww I know! Birthday was such a great episode for Cordy

I love it because it shows she became a real hero, I mean she didn't mind to be demonized to save her friends

I know!! That's like the reason I don't hate the demonized storyline because the reason as to why cordy took it.

So true! I've never hated the demonized storyline either and that's exactly why. Even if she was only manipulated, she didn't know that, she genuinely thought that she was saving/helping her friends

^exactly, and that's also why I believe Jasmine/Cordy lost her memory when she came back, I mean I honestly don't believe it was Jasmine's plan to erase her memory, I think she had a bit of a fight with cordy on the way down.

^nope...which does bring out another sad point though...if she was fighting with Jasmine that means when Lorne used the spell he helped Jasmine and the huge fight Cordy did was for nothing...well I guess it did buy time and help a little.

but still.

I know it's sad, but it just proves how much Cordy wasn't ready to let go without a fight.

Perhaps that's just why the PTB supposedly owed her one, because in a way she proved herself worthy enough.

Well I think she said TPTB owed her one because she fought for them, for the good side, but they never helped her in the sense that they didn't stop Jasmine

It is sad

However, what really bugs me is the big retcon of the visions in S4. They said it was all planned by Jasmine since the beginning, including giving her the visions. It bothers me because Cordy always saw them as a gift
