Aw, man. They keep other sucky shows on the air, but they cancel this?

Well, the cast seems to think that even if Fox doesn't pick it up for another season, it could get another season on another network.

Nielson ratings mean nothing. If we look at Batwoman where it's not doing great in the Nielson ratings it's actually second after the Flash in the +7 ratings. Supergirl is fourth and Arrow is sixth.

I don't know how they think can get proper rating results when only a handful of people have Nielson boxes.

Batwoman isn't very popular with viewers, though. And + 7 ratings just shows that no one's interested in watching it when it airs. It's not just ratings, it's audience scores and reactions. Batwoman has a small niche audience.

That's the thing, with all the shows we have now, people can't watch everything live. So +7 days should start counting. The CW does take that into consideration before cancelling a show, some of the other networks except FOX are doing that now too. TV watching is much different than it was a few years ago. Most of the younger generation watches from streaming, because they don't have a cable package.

Alex it was TERRIBLE by Nielsen ratings... and FOX is the network that cancels show the most because of that. And that's why I am a part of the #AllViewersCount movement.

And again people do NOT need to agree with how people watch viewers or their preferences because this has NOTHING to do with that. It's just about keeping these shows on air. It's unfair in 2019 that Nielsen viewers is what keeps or cancel a show.


A lot of fans are (rightfully) upset for the reason the show got cancelled.

Well, I for one don't want anyone to stop live TV. I do think that On Demand viewings need to be taken into account, but I don't like hearing this "who watches live TV anymore" stuff. I think a lot of people still like live TV so they see stuff as it happens.

I agree with you. I am with you that I want live tv to remain but I just want all of the viewers to be count. Especially since ONLY Nielsen viewers count... I just find it so unfair. People from other's countries viewers doesn't even count. It's so many viewers that aren't counted and I want to know the legitimacy of these ratings.

I prefer watching live tv as well.
