It was, you don't need to be a shipper or even a fan, but you can just feel the huge weight of that moment and the importances of it.

Jor-El telling Clark that he doesn't know how the outcome would be and it can be a huge risk.

This is probably not a good idea for Chloe to be here...

I loved that the new showrunners of season 8 REMEMBERED this, which showed they re-watched and looked at their history dating back to season 1, since this is when Clark told Lana about his first kiss, and the description was just like that.

This whole scene showed how IMPORTANT Clark is to Chloe, she wanted to hold on to this memory so much.

She didn't want to lose details of Clark.
