That entire trip back to Snape's memories from the past was one of the highlights of DH for me (both book & movie).

I really thought he's a baddie. I mean he was but I didn't think he'd go so far as to send that Patronus to help Harry and also kind of died to protect him even if it's mostly because of his love for Lily.

I wonder what if Lily is sorted at Slytherin instead of Gryffindor? Maybe she'd still be friends with Snape?

She won't be able to talk or interact with the Marauders as much since she's from a different house so maybe it would've been different then if Lily's in Slytherin with Snape.

It shouldn't yes. But if Snape was in the same house as the Marauders, I think he'd still be bullied too.
