Okay, I only saw about eight episodes of Dawson's Creek, and each of those in four different seasons. The show itself wasn't all that great, but I just liked the chemistry between Joey and Pacey. Josh is damn hot! [img]smilies/drool.gif[/img]

yeah I thought that show was pretty good. Dawson just annoyed me after awhile. I found myself routing for Pacey and Joey a lot. Althought I didn't always get the chance to watch it.

But of all the parallels I have to say Will/Elizabeth suits them the best.

Lifehouse is pretty good Auror band but I think Evanescence runs a VERY close second.

hey jk i remember you of course! the new movie comes out on june 5th, i believe. there's a new trailer online(for about a month or so) and that same trailer is in the previews for return of the king.

Hmm interesting parallels here:

Will- Harry: both parents are dead, killed by something evil.

Captain Barbosa- needed Will's blood to lift the curse.

Voldemort- Needs Harry's blood to lift the 'counter-course' so he can touch Harry.

Elizabeth- sets aside her happiness (agrees to Marry) to get Commodore Norrigton to save Will

Hermione- Sets aside her happiness to help Harry with Cho.

Will/Harry- Both will put their lifes on the line to save the girl. (Harry saves Hermione form the troll, Will goes after Elizabeth)

i can picture a hybrid of ron and sirius for captain jack sparrow. jack is really funny of course, which is like ron, but you never really know which side he's on until the end, like sirius in poa. then harry ends up saving sirius like will saves jack.

hmm...what else? elizabeth reminds me of hermione a lot. she is always thinking. i espacially like the part when elizabeth is gonna go back to get will at the end and she says 'bloody pirates' when she's rowing to get him. it reminds me of standing by harry in gof.

Harry and Will are obviously the heroes, but in the process they both need help from others. Harry receives help from Hermione (in pretty much every single book, actually) just like Will receives help from Elizabeth (Elizabeth was the only one on the Black Pearl willing to go into the cave and save her beloved. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]). Yeah.

Yeah, Joey/Dawson could be like Harry/Hermione, only, D/J grew up together. Like since they were five. And Joey did said that whenever she was around him, she was fifteen again. And they ended up as being just friend anyway! And we don't want that for our Harry and Hermione!!! As for Pacey and Joey, what they lived was way more healthy then the self destructive, on and off again D/J relationship.

I did like D/J in the first season of course, they had the whole soulmate vibe, but I LOVED the chemistry between Joey and Pacey. The way they just hated each other with so much energy! And the episode in the first season where Pacey gets a crush on her and try to kiss her! Damn! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
ut D/J played around the "soulmate" thing way too much, to come to the conclusion that because they were "soulmate" didn't mean they had to be dating. It could just be "you and me, forever" (that's an actual quote!) And I hope there's no DC fan who didn't saw the season finale, 'cause i'm giving away spoilers here [img]smilies/blush.gif[/img]
