It was something like fate (and maybe a bit of Ginny and Ron) that drew him to the Weasley family. I'd say it's more Ron than Ginny, but Ginny was the one who actually set the wheels in motion and caused Molly to look out for him. Unfortunately, the train had already pulled away from the station by the time she realized it. Fortunately, on the other hand, Ron joined Harry in the compartment.

You're so lucky that the Weasleys have been there.
..As I remember Fred and George tried to lock Percy inside a tomb? hahahaha

I agree it's fate. Ron just became Harry's best friend and he get invited to Ron's house, meeting his family properly and gradually he felt he is home..a real home ..much different from the Durselys

I agree! I'm so glad he eventually became legal family to the Weasleys through his marriage to Ginny. His children were, through their mother, Weasleys.

Yeah..Just look at James, he acts sometimes like his uncles Fred and George..Lily is a miniature of Ginny and Molly.

I imagine Jamie and Freddie were much like their uncles/namesakes (James & Sirius/Fred & George) during their Hogwarts days. Also, Lily definitely sounded like Ginny in her first line at the epilogue "dad, when can I go." much like Ginny when Ron began Hogwarts. Also, I think Lily will have firey, spunky, independent personality like her mum, Ginny.

I also imagine that James II and Lily II would have more Weasley features than Potter, and Al is the one left with everything Potter/nothing Weasley.

^ Exactly..James and Lily're more Weasley than Potter but only Al is the opposite.. more Potter than Weasley..Well, I think he had some of his mom too.

So true. The Weasleys were more of a family to him than the Dursleys considering they were blood related to him.

I agree that it was Fate that Ron joined Harry on the Hogwarts Express during their first journey. A small part of me says Fred/George had a tiny part of it (curious, but not curious enough since they cared more about Lee's Tarantula ) but definitely something else was working when Ron and Harry became instant friends.

I can see James II and Lily II being more Weasley than Albus. Albus would be the typical middle child/outsider in the Potter-Weasley family. But I think he would be just as loved by Molly and Arthur as his siblings and cousins.

LMAO at Lee's tarantula.

I also thought that RHr should have just as many kids as HG cause the Weasleys seem to be a huge family.

I think they were happy enough having just Rose and Hugo. But I do think they would have had a surprise pregnancy later.
