I agree that it was Fate that Ron joined Harry on the Hogwarts Express during their first journey. A small part of me says Fred/George had a tiny part of it (curious, but not curious enough since they cared more about Lee's Tarantula
) but definitely something else was working when Ron and Harry became instant friends.
I can see James II and Lily II being more Weasley than Albus. Albus would be the typical middle child/outsider in the Potter-Weasley family. But I think he would be just as loved by Molly and Arthur as his siblings and cousins.
