I want someone to love me more than Spike loves Buffy. I say more because I don't want a guy that is going to go to the ends of the earth for me only to do the things Spike did in AtS S5 & the graphic novels. I still can't believe that the writers even considered having Spike with Faith in a spinoff. That would've made zero sense. It didn't even make sense when Wood got with Faith. How could they even think that Spike would EVER do that? Spike thinks of Buffy as the love of his life, loved her more than anything even without a soul, etc. I love Tru Calling if only for the fact that it meant no Faith spinoff and no destroying Spuffy/Spike as a character. __________________

He wasn't that bad on ATS other than the Harmony part.
Just don't see the comics as canon.   __________________

The Harmony part. How I want that to have never happened!!!!
On AtS S5, it was also how he was settling into a life without Buffy, flirting with other women, letting other people be in his life, when Buffy was off grieving him and being alone/lonely. __________________

He did think she was with the Immortal part of the time.

He didn't think that until the 3rd to the last episode of AtS S5. And even then he didn't even see it with his own eyes or talk to her. He just went off of other people's word. Spike should've been better than that. I expect that stupidity from Angel.
I want to see another version of that Lovers Walk scene. Maybe one that has Buffy arrive at the house and Joyce had already left back to work. Buffy gets home all heated and sweaty from exercise and thinking she had to rescue her mom only to find Spike chilling in her house, maybe her bedroom. Maybe Spike could be there raiding her panty/bra drawer and mocking Angel who stands impotent outside. __________________

Do you think Buffy wrote about him any in her diary?
I really wanna read a fic like that. I wish I would have Spuffy dreams.  Spike was very insecure and scared to face Buffy. After everything they went through. I think it's understandable that after being stuck all that time and having time to think about things. That his insecurities got to him. It only made it worse being around Angel. I mean the second he got out of the amulet he wanted to go straight to Buffy. __________________

I wonder if Spike even realized that by staying away from Buffy because of his own failings and insecurities he was basically being just like Angel and doing exactly what Angel did to her 4 years earlier.
I always laugh at how tiny her diary was. Someone with a life like Buffy's should have those grand journals the size of hardback dictionaries. I think she must've written about him. He was such an important part of her life and story and took up a lot of her thoughts and actions. __________________

Looking at the Halloween pic, I keep imagining Buffy saying, "Four years from now we're going to be ****ing for five hours straight." lol I want to believe that Buffy only wrote her immediate surface thoughts in her diary and had an entire library of journals where she wrote down in detail her life story, heartbreak, hopes, fears, sexual cravings, deepest and darkest secrets, and everything else she thinks and believes and feels. And Spike is definitely in them! __________________
