Buffy gives Spike hope here...after she says the Robot was gross and obscene she could have just walked out...she had ever reason to.
Spike looks like he knew he screw up and would never be able to redeem himself...   But she turns around and gives him a crumb |

The thread OP is beautiful.
As is that Intervention scene. I like that Joss said Spike was probably the only vampire capable of being a good guy and having caring feelings even without a soul. There was a lot of sweet, loving William still in there. She just helped bring it out. |
