I know the physical baby existed in season 7.. I honestly can't remember. Liz was definitely pregnant when Luke went over for dinner right after he and Lorelai broke up. She had to have been pregnant in season 6

Maybe they just forgot about her. I mean, Amy only wrote that scene where Liz is pregnant. Nothing after. It wasn't a big storyline in s7. I think they just forgot.

It's too bad we couldn't have seen Luke and Jess with Doula. They could have entertained her at the diner or something.
