So it has a 7.8/10 rating on IMDB so far which is pretty good.

On rotten tomatoes it's kinda mixed. Critics score is 59% (but let's be serious, critics rarely know what's good or bad) and a 76% audience score which is pretty good actually and close to the imdb rating.

Yeah I've seen a couple brutal reviews from critics.

Most of the reaction online from fans and regular watchers has been positive. People seem like they're enjoying it. I really liked the first episode. I'm going to watch more tomorrow and should have time to do it.

Now watching the movie lol.

Ok the cast is really meh.

The effects are def not as bad as some people said, overall pretty solid, just appa looks weird and momo too.

They left out a lot of the story. And the bending scenes are pretty bad lol.

Them having the blue spirit storyline was pretty cool though, the only storyline so far they adapted well.

Ok but why does Pakku look like King Theoden of Rohan?

But i have to say the northern watertribe city looks gorgeous in the movie too, def got that one right (curious how it will look in the netflix show).

I like this movie's Iroh even though he looks nothing like cartoon iroh, but still got the character right tbh.

Oh and the soundtrack is pretty damn great.

Overall I'd give this movie a 4.5/10 rating. Def not great, but def also not terrible as many people say.

I feel like sometimes when you're told something is so terrible it adjusts your expectations and puts the bar in hell So then you watch it and think "oh it's not that bad." Cause I've been there Kudos to you for watching!
