I also love Sadaharu Aoki and Kazunori Ikeda, they are Japanese pastry chefs but they specialise in French sweets and they have their own stores, Aoki has stores in Paris, Japan and Taiwan. In order to find macarons outside France, you need to find pastry shops or patisseries that specialise in making and selling French-style sweets or at least sell some French sweets, because most pastry shops that sell macarons outside France are usually French-owned or they specialise in French sweets, and alot of these shops tend to be more expensive high-end patisseries or bakeries. They are less common in cheaper lower-end shops. I think the easiest way to find macarons is to search on google to find shops that sell macarons in your country, I personally recommend the Ladurée stores, or shops owned by any of the pastry chefs I mentioned above, they all sell macarons and they all have their own websites so you can check them out and find out where their shops are. Of course these are just a few examples, there are so many pastry chefs in the world who make French sweets it's hard to name them all. Last edited by LindaL100; 04-13-2021 at 10:04 PM |

It felt slow especially compared to modern anime like the new sailor moon (or others).
As for the pastry shops, yeah perhaps I have been in the wrong ones. __________________

sweets!
i guess at the time when i first watched it as a kid-teenager i don't mind it as much that the original series was slow. something i watched daily after school. now with Crystal, we have a comparison and also i watch it now as an adult. i prefer a more straight forward series. __________________

On the other hand I think the problem with Crystal is that it is too short and too fast-paced that you don't have enough time to properly develop the characters, it's a lot more story-driven, while the 90s anime is more character-driven. |

Yes I agree with you as kid these type of long shows of the 90s didn't feel this slow as they feel now (sailor moon, dragon ball, pokemon, and others).
I prefer them dubbed. I find it annoying having to read every single subtitle with a language I don't understand. __________________

I prefer subbed because I think the original Japanese dubs were much better than the english dubs, I particularly dislike the DiC dubs because DiC changed so much from the original dubs that some of the dialogues were very out of character for some of the characters. But sometimes I watch the english dubs too, I just prefer subs.
