Thanks Meghan! It was me who asked. That explains a lot. A long time ago I mentioned that song reminded me of Luby (it's on the Luby soundtrack I made myself what? that's not normal?) and someone said it was a "Carby song". I guess that is why. I've always loved Lifehouse. "Everything" is one of my very favorite songs. It's so Luby (to me).

I also love Livehouse but I was a Carby before Luby II happend (I hope I'm alive after leaving this thread. ) so these songs still remind me of Carby. They had a lot of these songs only for Carby... I don't even know 'real' Luby songs. (except for my new fav. song: Snow Patrol - Open your eyes)

Luby Pic of the Day: Day 33

"Sailing Away". Maggie attempts suicide by taking a box of sleep pills.

This is exactly what Luka was trying to protect her from

Abby: She might not wake up.

Abby: I thought I was watching her every second.
Luka: That's not possible.
Abby: I should have listened to you.
Luka: She'll be okay.
Abby: She'll never be okay.

Next up, "Fear of Comittement". The Hug

Ben Folds Five - The Luckiest

I dont get many things right the first time
In fact, I am told that a lot
Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls
Brought me here

And where was I before the day
That I first saw your lovely face?
Now I see it everyday
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

What if Id been born fifty years before you
In a house on a street where you lived?
Maybe Id be outside as you passed on your bike
Would I know?

And in a white sea of eyes
I see one pair that I recognize
And I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you

Next door theres an old man who lived to his nineties
And one day passed away in his sleep
And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days
And passed away

Im sorry, I know thats a strange way to tell you that I know we belong
That I know

That I am
I am
I am
The luckiest

I thought about this song because of the last verse, which connects to our discussion about L/A's creative ways [] of saying 'I love you'.

The Hug indeed. Definitely should be capitalized. The hug in 12x21 really reminded me of it.

What I did like at the end of Sailing Away was that Luka didn't say "I Told You So.." I don't know why I thought he would, first time round, but I do like the end bit to the ep. And oh, that bit where Abby and Carter are on the phone in that odd split-screen moment I liked. I'm odd.

Loved your drabbles Noa. Great idea to pair up the POVs as such, from I Do.

Hehe, sorry, Katie, I always remember from the review on your site of Finders Keepers how much you like the little talk scene!
