Isn't it awesome?? I love the guitar playing during the scenes, it is SO like a telenovela I love how the story is narrated/typed as it plays, even the voice guy is funny How many episodes have you watched??

I love the whole telenovela vibe to it. I got halfway through episode 3 when I had to stop last night. Will watch a few more this evening. Did you notice that Rafa's father is played by Chloe's husband from 24?

I just read this piece and it cracked me up, because it's my exact thoughts on DC-based TV shows. Namely this bit on Scandal:
"Other than the appropriation of the White House and a few other D.C. settings to dress up the goings-on, nothing in this show is remotely credible - unless you see it as a kind of drunken dream that might have occurred to producer Shonda Rhimes after too many margaritas as a guest at the celebrity-studded White House Correspondents’ Association dinner." But yes, I am very happy to see the end of Larry.
All caught up on Jane The Virgin (it was a late night.) Next up on my list is Chicago Fire. I watched a few episodes last summer and loved what I saw, so I am going to watch properly from the beginning. |
