i didn't like jen at first either, but she really did grow on me. she makes seasons three and four watchable lol d/jen were adorable in season 5... even though i wish it would have been joey that went to Hookset with Dawson, the scenes between michelle and james are so cute in that episode i think the dancing was cut from the episode, i know it was under the deleted scenes section on the official dc website. as for my favorite d/jen scene... i love them in the opening scene of Something Wilder...



the ET binder and then at the end when jen says "he's so cute!" plus the bloopers from that scene are histerical!

I think DJen had some of my fave season 5 moments involved Dawson. They had cute moments. I think in the end I hated the way they came about ending. I know the writers had to get us back to that DJ "willthey or won't they" place, but they could have dealt with it better.

Oh, I loved the bloopers from that scene. Didn't Michelle guide James into the frame of the door once?

yup and when james gets up from the chair he knocks it over but he goes in to kiss michelle anyway and she's laughing histerically and then james turns to the camera and smiles

Those bloopers are really funny. Those two really seemed to enjoy working together. They played off of each other nicely.

I can't say I was a fan of their romantic relationship, but as friends Dawson and Jen were terrific. They were there for each other no matter what. Dawson helped Jen in her difficult times during S2 and she was a big friend to him when he was devastated on S3. Their goodbye scene in Coda is my alltime favourite moment between them and definitely one of my favourites from the entire show.

The scenes I love the most with these two in a friendship setting are in Coda when they're saying goodbye and in The Long Goodbye when she doesn't quite know what to say to him after Mitch died so she just hugs him.

I was a fan of DJen.I think their relationship did both of them a lot of good.Jen never had a decent relationship.Most of hers were about sex and physical atraction.She finally knew what it was like to be with someone who knew her and could read her.and She helped Dawson grieve and get him back to school.
But i dint quite get why they broke up.It was pretty lame and carelessly handled.

I loved how they called each other,sweetheart,baby and pumpkin!! It was adorable.plus i liked the way their love scene was shot.Dawson was just drop dead gorgeous in season 5,and seeing him shirtless was a sight for sore eyes!!

But then they were better as friends.Besides Jack and Jen's friendship,i loved DJen's friendship.

In as much as my first ship will always be DJ and so at the first time of viewing I was glad DJen were over, once the show ended I had a chance to think it over and I actually quite like DJen, they have sweet moments and they were good at helping one another. I think the writers broke them up purely because they had to get Dawson in a single position so we could have the "will they or won't they" with DJ again.

After the show ended like it did,i think i wouldnt have been so disappointed if Jen had ended up with Dawson.Cuz if Joey had to pick Pacey,which still woudlve disgusted me as much,i maybe wouldve been ok with DJen getting together.I really liked them in season 5.

I adore Dawson more than any other character on the show and it broke my heart to see him end up all alone.And i always loved Jen more than Joey,so a DJen ending wouldve given me some solace.

But then i knew that Dawson's only love was and always will be Joey.Thats why i hated the ending.We knew Pacey would definately find someone to love passionately (there was Andie,Audrey and many..) but Dawson would always be in love with Joey,in some way or another,and sadly for Pacey,Joey also will be in love with Dawson.

Oh well,DJen had some beautiful moments together and this is one of my favourite ones.

Jen: You know why I wear makeup? Dawson: Acquiescence to images presented in a male-dominated media? Jen: [Laughs] Yes... my little feminist boyfriend, that's--that's very correct. When I was a little girl I learned that I should hide and I should cover myself up and that that was protection. You know how weird it is to live with somebody, to be with somebody who no matter what you do can always really see you? It's a little scary. Dawson: Mm-hmm, it's a lot scary. Does it help if I remind you how much I like what I see? (AWWW... ) Jen: Yeah. It does. Dawson: Thank you for my new toothbrush. Jen: Dawson... good morning. Dawson: Good morning.

so true Maddie!! I wouldve anyday preferred Dawson,with someone and Jen,alive,rather than one of them,alone and the other,dead!!

And yeh Dawson looks amazing!! Who knew the gawky Dawson of season 1 would grow up to be so darned hot!!?
