From the final ep I feel like we will learn about a few more creatures which exist in this universe. Looked like there was something to do with Gemini with the splitting twins & that made me curious

The show seems to be actually creating their own mythology for the original show's made up beings

Same, I think it is wonderful. They're really making it their own, while also fixing holes the original had - like not actually fully having a set explanation or backstory for whitelighters, darklighters, or elders

Yeah true , i think in the original they were just already there and it just said they die and if they have done well in thier life they become whitelighters .

I like that change

Yes, then darklighters changed each time they came in . We had no information on what Elders were really (& again details about them changed)
