I love that they already have it & you can see how protective & caing he is for them in some of those gifs
 . Its probably the British accent but I feel he's a mix of Giles (from Buffy) & Leo (from the original Charmed). He's not necessarily a love interest (at this point anyway   ), he's looking after them, & can be a fatherly or brotherly figure for them if needed. Then they're all coming together & really caring about each other as if they're all a family even early on which I feel mirrors Buffy more than Charmed as the bond there came later when Leo was more a part of the show/becomes a main character__________________

Even if he ever becomes an LI, I think him being started as an actual solo non LI character will do his character so well. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Which is good because even if it'd be yet another similar relationship to the original it'd be their own spin on it. Really they've already had Prue/Andy with Mel/Niko, & of course Phoebe/Cole with Maggie/Parker, so makes sense for them to gain a Piper/Leo similarity. In a way I'd rather not to have them match up all of them but I wouldn't mind it so long as it fit & seemed original. Does that make sense? They've already changing things up with switching which sister was with the cop though but I think that goes back to my theory that Mel is more the older sister than Macy is

They have done a lot of similarities so far all the while putting their own spins on them. If they continue doing it similarly but differently I am all for it.
