No, I essentially got put into lockdown. I wasn't in it before but the new rules which were meant to keep the Sydney unvaccinated in lockdown made the regional unvaccinated go into it. I don't think they quite thought about the difference between regional NSW & their greater Sydney lockdown bubble. A lot of regional areas have struggled with access. There are also many who were hesitant over AZ so that means they were one of many fighting for access to the limited supply of Pfizer. They rerouted many doses of Pfizer back to Sydney for teenagers (year 12) to go back to school which pushed people's vaccination back & added to the lack of supply for regional areas. Plus there is no need for regional areas to rush through the AZ vaccination unlike Sydney as there just isn't the cases/health concern. But this move puts people into a position where they either can't do things or have to move up their appointment.
Personally I am waiting for my 11 week mark. I would wait for 12 weeks but the government has a deadline for teachers & educators so have to be vaccinated earlier or lose my job. It is a huge jump in efficiency of the vaccine if it is taken closer together. That isn't a risk I am comfortable in taking for my own health. Even if it means I am not allowed to attend my grandmother's funeral next week. __________________

The rules have always been confusing as they'd change regularly. Now they're just silly I think
 Makes sense for Sydney, not so much for regional areas with few or no cases. Yeah waiting for my second one & refusing to bring it up __________________

Because there's 12 weeks between AZ doses & I'm waiting for as long as I can between doses. My appointment is for 11 weeks because I need to get it done by a certain date to keep my job

It is all I could get at the time. Pfizer was really hard to get, then they sent a whole bunch back to Sydney for the senior school students which made it even harder. tbh it was hard to get in for either until they opened it up to get in chemists. Then I was able to get in, but still had to go with AZ.
