Blah. I started to reread. Haven't gotten far yet, but this time, I plan on continuing after the original arc.

the show moves very slow compared to the comics.

The show spends more time trying to make the parents sympathetic, than simply one dimensional comic villains.

Which is good. But it starting to feel like they care more about the parents and that I don't like.

yeah, sometimes it really does feel like they care about the parents more and the kids are just afterthoughts. i hope that isn't the case in s2.
