I know there wasn't a lot of love for Kit when the sequel was announced. And this might be like a repeat of what happened to D&D with that SW project that didn't push through.

Yeah... some people weren't happy about the sequel... understandable considering how the show ended... but Jon was such an interesting character and his story didn't get all the development that it had potential to

I agree. People can say whatever they want to say and I still do hope the project pushes through because Jon deserves a better story that what went down in GoT.

Exactly! It felt like we got introduced to a main character but didn't get the conclusion for him in GOT, so the sequel would be perfect

I also felt like the writing in S8 was all over the place. When Jon found out his real parents, he acted weird about it and just wanted to kill Dany. He didn't even confront her about it or did I forget a scene like that?

And he bottled it all up. Like for sure he would have told someone else and asked what to do about it but no, he just wanted to kill Dany and for what? It doesn't make any sense. He could have talked to her about it too.

^ Exactly!! I would've understand the decision if he made it after he talked to her and listened to whatever she had planned or her justification for what she did in Kingslanding. Specially if she mentioned something about not letting the North be free.
But the way it happened it was really very badly written

I really think they got lost because they had the notes, but not the full story, so they just rushed thinking that people would love no matter what

And also because the show overtook the books right? I think that was also one of the reasons why? But I dunno, I feel like they should know better especially cause they did good the past seasons.

There's still no news about the sequel and I'm not expecting any tbh. Kit is busy doing other stuff which is good at least.
