Here is a clip from the film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, on which the play is based. It's one of my favourite scenes of the film.

The production company couldn't afford to pay for real horses so the actors had to pretend to ride horses while another actor made the sounds by banging coconut halves together.

Like Julie said, there's been a lot of productions. It attracts a lot of talented people. But the original cast had Hank Azaria, David Hyde Pierce, and Sara Ramirez. You can probably listen to the original cast recording on a streaming site. The show debuted in my city with that cast. A friend of mine got a bunch of tickets, and offered me one. And I turned it down. I'm still kicking myself for that.

Thanks for the clip of that scene, Julie. It's one of my favorites too. I think I had it memorized as a teenager.

Hopefully, the lavender plants will produce lots of lovely flowers. My last lavender plant lasted a long time.

Yes, Lindsay. I will wait for the weather to get a bit better before I do more work on the allotment. I am looking forward to it.
