Here is a clip from the film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, on which the play is based. It's one of my favourite scenes of the film.

I checked for swearing. There is just a mild swear word near the end.

LOL. Why is Arthur a horse?

And for someone doing hard labor, that man knows a lot about politics.

The production company couldn't afford to pay for real horses so the actors had to pretend to ride horses while another actor made the sounds by banging coconut halves together.

Yes, the man knows a lot about politics.

Like Julie said, there's been a lot of productions. It attracts a lot of talented people. But the original cast had Hank Azaria, David Hyde Pierce, and Sara Ramirez. You can probably listen to the original cast recording on a streaming site. The show debuted in my city with that cast. A friend of mine got a bunch of tickets, and offered me one. And I turned it down. I'm still kicking myself for that.

Thanks for the clip of that scene, Julie. It's one of my favorites too. I think I had it memorized as a teenager.

Si, that is so cool! I didn't know Spamalot was translated into languages other than English.

I can't wait for live theater to come back too. I found this pic I took last summer of one of our theaters:

I think this is the one where Spamalot debuted, come to think of it.

Here is a pic of my 3 new lavender plants at my allotment. More pics to come.

I need to dig over the grassy bits soon so I can plant seeds there.

Hopefully, the lavender plants will produce lots of lovely flowers. My last lavender plant lasted a long time.

Yes, Lindsay. I will wait for the weather to get a bit better before I do more work on the allotment. I am looking forward to it.
