Naomi Osuka fought back to win the second set and then win the third.

I had no idea until yesterday that she had been suffering from arthritis That would largely explain it.

I was rooting for John Millman against Zverev At least it was competitive.

Osaka did really well in keeping her composure and coming back to win that match.

ETA: This Dimitrov/Cilic match is incredible!

I've been enjoying the tennis!

I like Cilic and Dimitrov so I didn't know who I wanted to win. It's great for Dimitrov because this could bring his ranking right up.

Dimitrov pulled it out! Very happy for him.

Wow, Serena and Naomi are out. Sofia Kenin was very feisty. I enjoyed all of the tennis today. Wawrinka is looking very good.

Serena didn't appear to be moving very well (apparently she came into the tournament with a knee injury), and Kenin managed to stay consistently strong.

Osaka made a lot of errors against Siniakova, but Katerina deserved the win. Definitely outplayed her and stayed positive.

Warinka/Tsitsipas match was the match of the tournament for me.

It was SPECTACULAR.

So so so good!!

And, it made my weekend that Serena lost.

Yup.

Khachanov/Del Potro was a great match today too.

I love me some Delpo.

I actually don't think the match was so great. Tsitsipas was too exhausted from the previous match to really be consistent or play his best. That's probably why he was so miserable in the press conference afterward. There were some excellent points but Stan relied heavily on crowd support to get him through it.

The Nishikori - Paire match was bizarre, full of faults I'm a huge Kei fan, but Benoit clearly self-destructed in set 5.

The Fognini - Zverev match began well but ended disappointingly; Fabio seemed distracted by his injury.

Fognini annoys me so I was glad that he lost.

I didn't feel he was that tired and exhausted. He surely didn't play that way to me. But to each his own. I thought it was an incredible match.
