I was surprised that Halep came back & won the 3rd set after Kerber got the lead on her. Ho hum match Federer had. Did not last long.

It was. Hopefully everyone stayed up to watch it. That final set though was not looking good for her. She really let Simona back in it, but tears of joy certainly were in order for perhaps most of her fans too. She gets to be ranked #1 in the world to which I think was mentioned that it's the longest amount of time between being ranked #1 by a player in history. It's been almost 6 years since she's been ranked #1 in the WTA rankings.
I did want to mention also, what was up with so many men wearing pink during this tournament? I think there was at least 4 different men wearing usually a pink & black shirt & perhaps pink shorts too. I was just curious if this is like a new thing or maybe it's happened before. __________________

I like the pink.
 I did want Cilic to win the Men's championship but Federer won. I'm still pleased for Cilic though. He looked to be in great spirits and I am excited to see him in other tournaments this year. __________________

I think as Australia is the happy slam they do generally dress the players in brighter colours than say RG.
Marin did very well to stick with Roger, I believe he will win another if he continues to make these finals. __________________
